The Mixed Media Card Challenge #16 {Black and Orange} - More Inspiration

We've been loving all the Scary and Fall themed cards in this months challenge - such a colorful gallery of cards!

Perfect pearls brushed onto Versamark ink, embossing paste through stencil, dry and heat embossing and a scattering of gems.
                                                                           Elina 

Layers of ink on white cardstock, splashed with water. Darker splashes created using 'wrinkle-free Distress ink' technique. On card front a collage of stamped and die-cut/fussy cut images (inked and colored with markers).

Challenge #16 {Inspiration Cards}

Hi, mixed media cardmakers!  We've got some gorgeous entries in our October challenge, take a peep here.  Our theme is black and orange with an optional element of glitter.

On this card I used some Gesso, water-color smooshing and some Smootch Spritz on the background. I made 3 different cards with these stamps. Come on over and check out the other two!

The Mixed Media Card Challenge #16 {Black and Orange}

A new month means a new challenge here at The Mixed Media Card Challenge! This month, our theme is 'BLACK AND ORANGE'. Show us your mixed media card incorporating the colours black and orange! The optional element is 'GLITTER'.




I did some ink-blending and cut the peony out with a cover plate die.

A piece of orange sprayed white cardstock as a background, covered with a flower stencil pattern. Partly used black acrylic paint and partly glitter paste. Then outlined the glitter pasted flowers with a black pen, added black ink splodges a ribbon and a layered flower. Finally stamped a sentiment with black ink and fussy cut it and glued it on it´s place.

Background made with various colored gelatos applied in a watercolor fashion. Stamped images using archival ink. Distressed wood frame made from a stamped image, dry embossing, disress ink and watercolor paint.

LEE-ANNE
Designer paper background colored with Stickles.  The watercolor paper pumpkin has been stenciled and colored with Brushos, Gelatos, Neocolor II crayons.  On top of that...Glass Bead Gel and Stickles.

Distress spray stain background, inked and spritzed die cut stamped owl with added micro beads, black embossing paste with word stencil, Remnant Rub sentiment, skull charm and sanded die cut bat.

Gelli print made with acrylic paints, lace, net ribbon and sun-ray stencil, NeocolourII crayon, glitter card die-cut numbers, glossy card die-cut sentiment

I used Spectrum Aqua Watercolor Markers, Die Cutted the cup and Kettle, stamped images and sentiment and added Washi Tape and Sticker Stitches
